I wonder if any of you have watched that show called Extreme Couponing on TLC? They're crazy right? I mean, who needs 45 years worth of toilet paper, or over 60 bottles of Mustard? I wish I had the room for that much toilet paper! But I don't need it. As I'm shopping, I am always wondering who I can give it to. I know that sounds really stupid, but I like to help as much as I can. I can't give anyone money, so I might as well give them stuff I can get for free right? I'm really surprised at how many of them are ungrateful too. I couldn't imagine getting something for free from someone and then saying to their face "What's the use of couponing if you're going to just give it away" or "Next time can you buy this brand, flavor, size etc" Give me a freakin break!
Anywho, I am planning on having a yard sale sometime when Utard decides that it's spring. All the proceeds are going to find a cure for Benton's cute nephew Colby who has Cystic Fibrosis.

John was like, don't you want to watch it? and I was like, I don't know, do you want to watch a show that tells you how to fight fire the wrong way?
I know exactly what you mean by the Ungrates, too. How many times I've heard, "I don't use that kind". You don't use the FREE kind?
(Some honestly can't use another kind because of skin allergies or whatever, but some are just snobby about it.)
When does it get Spring there?
I read your post about the Weatherman making a pattern. It went over my head at first, because it was in the 80-90's here at the time, so I couldn't think what snow you were talking about, lol.

ReplyDeleteI found your blog through freebies2deals.com I was at the Orem, UT Walmart last week and the checkout lady told me they're doubling coupons up to $1 on Tuesdays. So I wanted to check online to see if it was true.
Did you do all your coupon matchups yourself for the shopping trip pictured above or did you use a website?
Thanks Jordan! I go to the Lindon WM and have heard conflicting stores on all the Ut county WM and doubling, you either get to price match OR use a double coupon, not both. I went to Springville last week, and was told at check out that they aren't doubling, my friend called the next day and they said they are! So, I would call and make sure you talk to a CSM first.
ReplyDeleteI check out freebies2deals.com, coupons4utah, hip2save, and utahdealdiva. I do most of the match ups myself though. Prices at WM vary a lot!
Melissa, I watch it because it's entertaining, not reality! They teach you absolutely nothing about couponing, they just want that WOW factor, I'm kind of embarrassed by it, I have had family members compare me to those people, hurts my feelings because I'm not like them! I am scoring a ton of stuff right now before WM gets smart and stops doubling and offering overage!
I totally get the sensitive skin and things but not the "free just isn't good enough" haha freakin losers
