When they are teenagers, I am definitely giving them away! It was really nice out for two days, so the twins played outside all day for those two days. When they come in they smell like dirt and sweat! Do your kids smell like that? It's disgusting and makes me gag. Although, I sure do love having them play outside all day, if only the babies could go out there too. Then I just MIGHT have a clean house. But I won't hold my breath.
I'm insanely jealous of the twins skin too. They have a beautiful tan, after just two freakin days! I was out there for about 30 minutes and I got burnt on my face, and absolutely NO color anywhere else! I know I can tan, I've fake baked before. I just have to get my burn on first, which is lame! My poor baby, I will have to remember to put sun block on her and bring appropriate clothes. If I forgot for the twins, I didn't have to worry, but she will get burned bad!

Dirt and sweat smell doesn't bother me too much, but my oldest and youngest sons smell like @$$ alot of the time. My middle son don't stink like they do. I can't figure out what makes the stink so different.
ReplyDeleteYeah we don't hardly go out without being slathered with SPF 50, lol.
My middle son can tan, which we always thought was pretty weird since he's blonde and light-skinned normally. But according to his nose (the shape of) he apparently has a good bit of Native American heritage so he tans instead of burns.
One year he went off to 4-H camp for a week and when he came home I almost didn't recognize him! His blonde hair was WHITE, but his skin was nut-brown. I was like, who are you?? lol.
I guess my husband can tan, since his forearms are pretty dark. But his shoulders, chest, back and legs are so white, they get burned if he don't put on SPF.
