Walmart totally rocked my socks tonight!!

$160.89 for all of this but Walmart gave me back $4.82!! I will write about my experience in the AM. This lady went ape shit because she had to wait in line.

    Oh wow, now I'm envious!

    So they are doubling $1.00 coupons up to $2.00?

    Did they announce they were doing it publicly? or did you find out from somewhere else?
    Reason I ask is because I read a weird story about some WMs were doubling in some test markets, but weren't telling people about it, and weren't doubling unless the customer asked, so I don't whether to ask here or not. I'm not a big fan of getting laughed out the door.

    What happened with the irate lady?

    We have a store called Ridleys and they double on Tuesdays. So some of the Walmart's around here have chosen to double on Tuesdays also to compete with them I guess. I think it was just this week until they get smart but the WM I went to was doubling every coupon under a dollar and then $1 to $2 $3 to $4. so not doubling, but adding $1... And if you price match you can still double! I was so freakin excited all day! My husband didn't get off work until 630 and then he wanted to eat! haha I'm like hurry!

    So, I got there around 8 and was there until about 12:15. As I was checking out I hear this lady starts yelling, THIS IS EFFING RIDICULOUS! IF YOU ARE GOING TO DOUBLE COUPONS THEN YOU NEED TO HAVE MORE REGISTERS OPEN FOR THOSE OF US WHO DON'T COUPON, IT'S TAKING SO LONG BLAH BLAH BLAH... I'm like, Those of us here right now at 12am are trying to be curtious to those of you who don't coupon. So chill out, there's no reason to get crazy!
    I went that late, 1. because I had to! haha and 2. because I didn't think anyone would be there! but everyone and their dog was there!

    Dang I wish our WMs would double.
    No, I don't, becuz then I'd have to go shop and it would turn out to be a major FUBAR like it has been with this new coupon policy.

    That lady sounds like my sister, lol.
    But knowing WM, there was probably someone standing around with their thumb up their nose that could have opened a register to check someone out.
