So, I've decided to get a bike....

Yup, it's true. I am also going to buy a trailer to put on the back of it so I can pull the babies when I ride my bike with the kids to school. What I'm really wanting to do is loose weight. Also, I am hoping that getting out everyday will give me some energy!

Why did I let myself get this big? Ugh, it's disgusting. I don't want to look like this anymore. I don't want to not be able to fit in the theater seats anymore. This is thee fattest I have ever been and I am disgusted with myself. I mean, I have never had low self esteem before. I have always had super cute boyfriends, and I have a hot and sexy husband. I guess I just never cared before, I don't know why I have decided to start caring now.

I want to be able to play with my kids without getting tired so fast, I want to be able to hike Bridal Veil Falls with them. They love being outside, and I hate it! I don't want to anymore. I want to do fun things with my kids, but I'm so lazy and stuck in a rut. I am hoping that getting out everyday to take the kids to school will make me want to get out more and more.

The husband says they make bikes for fat people, but I have called around and they say no. So, if you know the answer to that, please, do tell! I want to get the right one for me!

  1. We all have bikes and love riding. We have a walking/biking trail through town here, we can get on it here near the house and ride to town and have a picnic and play in the creek. I like to take my camera and take pictures of all the gorgeous flowers and bright blue sky and anything else of interest.

Start easy, don't try to go too far to start with, add a little distance each day. And don't forget to take water, if you don't stay hydrated your legs will start cramping then you won't want to ride anymore. (I'm not an athlete or biking expert, I just learn stuff the hard way.)

Those Bridal Veil Falls are great! We love waterfalls, and go to see the ones around here when we get a chance.

  2. Thanks for the links! The Husband and I went and bought a bike from Target. It's super cute, I'm working on getting a picture of it in a minute. I had to buy myself a helmet! Haha, The Hubs says I'm a dork, and shouldn't have bought it, BUT my kids are so good at pointing out when I'm being a hypocrite. So... I have to wear one and be a good example! haha

Bridal Veil is gorgeous! You start out in the parking lot and you can bike up the mountain trail or walk up the paved road haha. I mean, it's "hiking", It's kind of up hill, and then you can hike to the top of waterfall. It's really pretty pretty to walk the trail.

  3. LOL, sounds like my kids. I try to tell them a Rule of Parenting is "Do as I say, not as I do" but they don't much go for it, haha.

Will look forward to the picture of your new bike.

I love walking the nature trails up/down/around waterfalls.

Here's some images of some local falls around here:
